What it is.

Packed full of plant oils and butters including sea buckthorn fruit oil renowned for its skin protecting properties. The sea buckthorn plant thrives in the harsh Nordic climate, so be reassured it will protect your skin from the harsh elements we face today.
Bisabolol is a natural extract, great at soothing and calming mild inflammation.
Mango butter, cocoa butter, thistle oil, the list goes on.
Lots of natural cleansing balms leave a heavy residue. This is why I've formulated a cleansing solution that is a melt, not a balm. The inclusion of gentle skin friendly emulsifiers help to leave the skin feeling delightfully fresh and soft.
How to use it
Indulge yourself a couple of times a week by taking amount (using the spoon, not wet fingers) of the velvety melt and massage onto your face using small circular motions. Enjoy the uplifting aroma. Apply a little warm water and enjoy as the melt turns to more of a milk. Remove with the hot, organic cloth supplied.
Now sit back and relax knowing you don’t need a moisturizer and you aren’t consuming excessive products and therefore treading lightly on our planet.
What to do when it is finished?
This depends on your world view. The container is so pretty, I recommend you keep it to store your things, like special jewellery. I keep my Nanna's vintage emerald engagement ring in mine.
You could drop it in your compost bin or depending upon your local recycling facilities, you could send it to landfill where it will happily degrade and not pollute the environment. If you have local industrial composting facilities, it will be pretty much gone in a few months!
Then, I hope you come back and try some more!
So far Clair has used the shampoo cake bar and is loving it! Hasn’t tried the yellow stuff yet…:). B
Michael, so glad Clair liked my birthday gift especially for her (the 'shampoo cake bar'). If she loves it, it bodes well for when I introduce it to the eco-shop. Also glad you heeded my advice and didn't try to eat it or lick it!. I'm sure when when she get's a chance to try the 'yellow stuff' aka as the cleansing melt with gorgeous and nourishing plant oils and butters - she will love that too. :-)

Hi Lisa. I bought mine for Xmas presents so nothing to report yet. Annie
I actually love this melt! It's beautiful, the scent, colour and texture. It's gentle for my sensitive skin and hydrating for my dry skin. The packaging is awesome and the spoon is great along with the ultra soft muslin, best muslin I have used actually! I really enjoy using it too, it helps me be gentler with my skin. And the packaging is biodegradable which is awesome. In love!
